The branding and website for Authentic Birth Co. were designed to reflect the emotional depth, intimacy, and transformation of motherhood. At the center of the identity is a custom logo mark that simultaneously forms the letter “A” while abstractly depicting mother-and-baby imagery — symbolizing connection, protection, and the profound bond created through birth and early motherhood. The mark was intentionally crafted with soft, organic forms to feel nurturing, human, and embracing, allowing the logo itself to communicate the heart of the brand.

The broader visual identity carried these themes throughout the brand system through warm neutral tones, organic typography, and emotionally grounded imagery. Every element was designed to feel less clinical and more relational — honoring birth not simply as a medical event, but as a deeply human and transformative experience.

In addition to the branding, the project included the design and development of a full website experience featuring educational resources, a blog, and “The Collective,” a community-centered space where mothers could connect, share stories, ask questions, and build relationships with one another. The platform was designed to function as both a resource hub and a place of belonging, blending thoughtful user experience with emotionally resonant storytelling and design.
