As a designer for Hamilton Health Care System, now Vitruvian Health, I developed and executed large-scale healthcare marketing and brand communications across a complex regional hospital network encompassing more than 70 service lines and 30 locations. My work spanned everything from brochures, billboards, print advertising, and direct mail campaigns to hospital magazines, environmental graphics, digital assets, physician marketing materials, and system-wide patient education collateral.

Working within a highly collaborative healthcare environment, I helped create cohesive visual systems that could flex across a broad range of specialties while maintaining consistency, accessibility, and trust throughout the organization’s brand presence. Projects ranged from large public-facing campaigns and community outreach initiatives to highly detailed service-line materials supporting oncology, pediatrics, orthopedics, women’s health, cardiac care, and surgical specialties.

A significant component of the work involved designing and producing the hospital system’s magazine and long-form editorial materials, balancing storytelling, patient experience, and healthcare communication through thoughtful layout, typography, and visual hierarchy. Whether designing a billboard seen by thousands daily or a patient brochure held in a waiting room, the work was rooted in the belief that healthcare design should communicate clarity, compassion, and dignity at every scale.

This role strengthened my ability to manage large, multi-channel brand systems within healthcare while designing for diverse audiences across both clinical and community settings.
